Environmental Projects

Safari Project

This Project is a conceptual hotel project in Matobo National Park in Zimbabwe. The primary theme of the design proposal is the co-existence and harmonization with nature where wild life is within reach.  The building is made out of local natural material in every aspect and uses organic shape to esthetically harmonize with the surroundings, while maintaining a distinctive design like no other.

The top glass roof in the center of the structure functions as a funnel to collect rain water to be stored in the underground level tank and the layer below funnel glass will act as the solar panels to afford the building to function as the self-powered off-grid structure.

Al Umma Park Project

Al Umma Park Project is a revitalization project located in the center of Baghdad.  It once was used as a place for relaxation by the citizens and visitors, but has been suffering from declining use by wear and tear.

The proposal is to create environmentally controlled interior space for all weather use.  Thus, the main space is covered by lattice roof structure with glass infill for outdoor like view to enjoy environmentally controlled atmosphere.

Inside space is filled with gardens with full of plants, ponds and water falls so that the visitors can feel walking around the nature.
